Michael Fiore, MBA, is a veteran healthcare services executive who has focused for the last 40 years on physician and hospital joint ventures and multi-site operations. In 2002, Michael co-founded Vantage Oncology, a developer and operator of multi-specialty oncology treatment centers and a cancer care management company. He served as chairman and chief executive officer of Vantage Oncology until McKesson acquired the business in 2016. Michael started his healthcare career at American Medical International, a publicly traded hospital operator that is now a part of Tenet Corporation. He spent 11 years at Salick Healthcare, a publicly traded operator of outpatient cancer centers and dialysis clinics, ultimately serving as chief operating officer prior to its sale to AstraZeneca. After Salick, he was chief executive officer of Interdent, a dental service organization. Michael also previously served on the boards of California Cryobank, Titan Health Care and Cadent. He currently serves on the Boards of IVX Health, HOPCO, Stability Health and Gelmetix. He holds a bachelor’s in economics and anthropology from Amherst College, a Master of Science in accounting from New York University and an MBA from Harvard University.
