John Limanto, Ph.D.
Process Chemistry
John Limanto, Ph.D., leads process chemistry at Aviko and is an executive director, process chemistry at Deerfield Discovery and Development. Prior to Deerfield, John spent more than 18 years with Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. in the department of process chemistry, and was senior principal scientist, chemistry, from 2016 to 2020. John holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, a Master of Science in organic chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a doctorate in organic chemistry from Boston College.
