John Limanto, Ph.D., is an executive director, process chemistry at Deerfield Discovery and Development. Prior to Deerfield, John spent more than 18 years with Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. in the department of process chemistry, and was senior principal scientist, chemistry, from 2016 to 2020. John holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, a Master of Science in organic chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a doctorate in organic chemistry from Boston College.
