Ivo Lorenz, Ph.D., is the head of biologics at Deerfield Discovery and Development. Prior to Deerfield, Ivo was vice president, biologics at the Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute (Tri-I TDI). Before that, he had group leader positions in R&D at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI). Ivo holds a doctorate in biochemistry and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
