Ivo Lorenz, Ph.D., leads biologics drug development at Aviko and is the head of biologics at Deerfield Discovery and Development. Prior to Deerfield, Ivo was vice president, biologics at the Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute (Tri-I TDI). Before that, he had group leader positions in R&D at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI). Ivo holds a doctorate in biochemistry and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
