Christopher Freeland, J.D., is counsel at Aviko and Deerfield Management. Christopher provides legal support to the firm’s external operations team. Prior to Deerfield, he held various roles of increasing responsibility at Aralez Pharmaceuticals, including general counsel and chief operating officer. Before Aralez, Christopher was an associate general counsel at American International Group. He began his legal career as a corporate associate at the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Prior to law school, he was an investment banking analyst at Citigroup. Christopher received a bachelor’s from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
