Alessandro Mora, Ph.D.
Biopharmaceutical Development
Alessandro Mora, Ph.D., is on the biopharmaceutical development team at Aviko and is a senior director, biopharmaceutical development at Deerfield Discovery and Development. Prior to Deerfield, Alessandro spent two years at Kadmon, a Sanofi Company, where he was director, CMC biologics. Before Kadmon, Alessandro spent three years at Jounce Therapeutics as a principal scientist, CMC operations, product development and technical operations. He also worked for seven years at AbbVie / Abbott Bioresearch Center as a scientist, cell line development, process sciences. Alessandro holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biotechnology from Sapienza University in Rome and a doctorate in biomedical engineering and biotechnology from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
